USA – Pakistan Amity Forever

Recently Dr. Sarmad Pirzada from USA met Chairman Pakistan National Reform Movement Brigadier Nadir Mir.

The two hours Discourse concluded that USA – Pakistan Amity is forever. The environment under President Trump Administration in USA was discussed threadbare. Dr. Sarmad Pirzada, well established among Pakistan Americans was optimistic about Pakistan – USA relations. PNRM, Chairman Nadir Mir had been among the first Pakistanis to welcome the Trump Presidency. Apart from President Trump’s business acumen and pragmatic legendary deal making prowess, the two Nations were geopolitically entwined.

Pakistan – The Pivotal Central State

Chairman PNRM, Nadir Mir, besides being an ardent Nationalist Reformer is also a pragmatic Geopolitician. He is author of books, ‘Gwadar on the Global Chessboard’ from which CPEC is inspired and his second book, ‘Geopolitik Pakistan’ is World View and Geo-strategy for Pakistan. In his view,

  • Pakistan faces enhanced Indian Threat and Indian inspired asymmetrical threat from Afghanistan, even though Pakistan seeks Peace.
  • USA and Pakistan traditional allies despite, differences on certain issues.
  • Pakistan – China near alliance and even warming of ties with Russia does not reduce relations with USA.
  • Pakistan wants peace in Afghanistan for which consensus with USA, China – Russia and even Iran is required. India is the spoiler in Afghanistan and Indian presence must be expelled from Afghanistan.

    In fact, Nadir Mir, Chairman PNRM has been stressing on rekindling relations with USA.
  • Pakistan must have good relations with USA West and also Russia – China. Its sole enemy is India. All Pakistani Geopolitical Efforts are to Balance India and not directed against anyone else.
  • Pakistan can cooperate with USA for peace in the Middle East. The idea of a larger Military Alliance with Saudia was given by Brigadier Nadir Mir during IISS Manama Dialogue Bahrain 2015.
  • Pakistan can play a balancing role in the Middle East with Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Iran. Also after US missile strikes on Syria, the need for de-escalation and peace making needs to be highlighted.
  • Kashmir resolution in the face of Indian genocide and India’s nuclear brinkmanship are global issues to be resolved posthaste.

Dr. Sarmad Pirzada and Chairman PNRM, Nadir Mir also discussed Gwadar – CPEC as a future of Pakistan. A game changer not only for Pakistan but for many regions of the world. Nadir Mir had crafted the Gwadar Concept in year 2000 and his book, ‘Gwadar on the Global Chessboard’ was published in 2010, which is the moving spirit of Gwadar Concept. Gwadar will be virtually a global project. USA should be involved in Gwadar investments and business projects.

In his book, Nadir Mir suggested US Geo-strategy should be turned to Geo-economics at Gwadar. In times, most citizens of the world except enemy India would be welcomed to share the fruits of Gwadar. Dr. Sarmad Pirzada and the Chairman PNRM, Nadir Mir agreed that Pakistani Americans should be invited to join PNR Movement since its aim to reach Global Pakistanis.

Moreover, the great business opportunities at Gwadar – The New Dubai should facilitate Americans and would lead to Greater Amity between USA and Pakistan. In his book, Nadir Mir had noted, ‘if the Americans and Chinese can do business in Dubai why not Gwadar?’

Dr. Sarmad Pirzada also invited Chairman PNRM, Nadir Mir to visit USA both for PNR Movement and project Gwadar his brain child.
